DOMIK PETRA
Domik of Peter the Great is a unique edifice on the bank of the Neva.
Peter Alexeevich , who wanted a very simple abode, had this house built on 26th May 1703. The house consists of two rooms: a study and a dining room which was used as a bedroom at night. Peter focused all his energy on the building of the city and lived quite a frugal life. Lead windows and painted shutters are the only decoration of the house.
Today, the Domik of Peter the Great is a museum opened to visitors.
